Super Hot Picks
I don’t have a bunch of time to do a full on Hot Picks post, but a couple of songs that I am tracking were the most picked this week, so I need to do a quick rundown:

The Starting Line - Island (WFXH, WHTG, WJSE, WPBZ, WSUN)
So I’ve been watching how the Against Me! single has been doing. It was one of the top adds a couple of weeks ago when the album hit stores. And it sounds good on the radio. I haven’t heard it on terrestrial radio yet, but I was rawking to the indie hits station on Slacker when it came on and I was like “yeah, that’s the new Against Me!”. And you gotta love this quote from Capone at XTRA:
“Against Me! will be the biggest band of the year not named Linkin Park or The Foo Fighters. This song is #1 Phones by a mile.”
Of course, the other song I am tracking is Silversun Pickups and that is looking way good as well. I’m thinking if they keep getting a few stations adding them here and there, they’ll keep their momentum to climb up the top 50 in the next couple of weeks.
Oh and a preview to this week’s top 10 - it looks like Linkin Park has finally lost its crown. I’ll wait to confirm on tomorrow’s numbers and give you the full rundown then.
