Editors - Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors
I really have enjoyed the Editors when I have seen them live. I don’t know if this is the song that will break through on the radio but I’m down with it getting some hype.
Sixx:am - Life Is Beautiful
This is Nikki Sixx’s solo project that was released in conjunction with his book “Heroin Diaries”. It’s already a big hit on the active rock stations, so I find it interesting that the label would also push it on the alt rock side.
The White Stripes - Conquest
This song is a no brainer for a single. It was my fave off “Icky Thump” and I just find it to be joyous to listen to.
P.S. Bonus in the listen section. I am in love with this cover of the classic Thompson Twins song which is probably best remembered as the song at the end of Sixteen Candles. Jake Ryan. Sigh.
