Dashboard Confessional at DMTC 7/27/12

I’m rarely in SD during the summer and haven’t been to a 4 o’clock Friday show in a couple of years. So I was glad when I realized I’d be in town for the Dashboard show. You know I love my emo sing-a-longs, I just couldn’t miss it. Set list first…

A pretty standard Dashboard set list. Was happy to get “As Lovers Go”, one of my faves ever. And their cover of Weezer’s “El Scorcho” is always lively. Sound wasn’t that great - the mix was a bit muddled and the large area was not conducive to the emo sing-a-longs we crave at a D/C show. Also, Chris has been touring solo acoustic, so this was one of the first shows with the full band in awhile and you could tell they were a little rusty. But still, a good time and definitely worth a day at the track to see them.
