More from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art: Mao by Warhol, a 3D installation that I forgot to note the artist, Picasso’s “Woman Looking Out of Window” (Francoise Gilot), Lichtenstein’s “Still life with Brushes, Shell and Star Fish”, Picasso’s “Woman with a Mauve Hat” (Dora Maar), Bonjour Picasso installation - photograph of Picasso staring at you on the left and his Bust of a Faun on the right.
Didn’t have much time at the museum, so we ran through the new Bonjour Picasso exhibit, which is a small display of art created while in his studio La Californie. There are also photographs from David Douglas Duncan. I have one of Duncan’s books of Picasso photos so the exhibit photos were familiar. The small gallery was still worth the visit, after all, it was free :)
